Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Machinist for an onsite contract opportunity in Wilmington, DE. This role is ideal for a senior-level machining professional with strong CNC programming, setup, manual machining, and tool room experience. The Machinist will support precision engineering and machining work in a professional engineering services environment where accuracy, technical problem-solving, and collaboration are essential. This opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of complex machining assignments, work with specialized equipment, and contribute to high-quality production and prototype support alongside a skilled technical team. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components. Perform manual machining using Bridgeport mills and tool room lathes. Work with fixtures, cutting tools, and tool paths to support accurate and efficient machining. Interpret CAD models, drawings, and design specifications to complete machining assignments. Support troubleshooting, process improvements, and quality-focused machining practices. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive machine shop environment. Compensation and Benefits -
Pay:
$30 - $35 per hour.
