Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a CNC Mills/Lathe Machinist for a Manufacturer of car parts with a company located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.

Duties:

Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and setting up workpieces for sandblasting. Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper blasting techniques and surface finishes. Inspectect finished workpieces to verify conformity with quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to supervisors promptly .

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC or Press Machine Operator, specifically with sandblasting equipment. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for handling abrasive materials and operating machinery. Programming experience required Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
