This position demands a high level of precision and a keen eye for detail to ensure the manufacturing of top-tier components. Primary Duties Analyze and utilize technical drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and production documentation. Utilize advanced measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various gauges. Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production cycle and at completion to guarantee adherence to design requirements. Ensure consistent, high-precision output by maintaining strict tolerances during the manufacturing process. Execute necessary machine offsets and minor modifications to uphold superior part quality. Proactively report any production or quality discrepancies to ensure swift resolution. Promote a secure workplace by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety. Keep your workstation tidy and orderly to support an efficient manufacturing flow. Work effectively alongside engineering, production, and quality departments to achieve team goals. Necessary Experience and Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints. Extensive practical experience utilizing standard precision measurement instrumentation. A meticulous nature with a primary focus on maintaining high quality standards. Commitment to delivering flawless components to support overall production success. Prior background operating Swiss-style lathes is highly desirable. Experience working within high-precision manufacturing settings involving tight tolerance requirements. Physical Demands Capacity to remain on your feet for the duration of your shift. Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing between 35 and 50 pounds. Physical capability to perform bending, reaching, crouching, and stooping tasks. Sufficient visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and interpret complex technical prints. Comfort working in a standard industrial environment featuring typical noise levels, coolants, and active equipment.
