is in search for a Machinist to join our client's team at a leading and fast-growing manufacturing company in Doral, FL, where your skills will help create the scents and products that captivate the world! As a Machinist, you'll be ensuring state-of-the-art machinery runs smoothly to produce top-quality cosmetic and beauty products. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the heartbeat of our client company's production line.
Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance on fluid production machinery Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical issues Manages parts inventory and orders supplies Ensures workplace safety and cleanliness Collaborates with production managers on equipment modifications Implements and tests machine alterations Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, with specific experience operating and maintaining cellophane wrapping machines.
Technical Skills :
Proficient in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of cellophane machines and other packaging equipment.
Mechanical Aptitude :
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Quality Control :
Experience in performing quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and making necessary adjustments to machinery.
Maintenance :
Ability to perform routine maintenance on cellophane machines to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Safety :
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to operating packaging machinery.
Problem-Solving :
Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues with machinery. Attention to
Detail :
High attention to detail to ensure precision in machine operation and product packaging.
Team Collaboration :
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with other machinists, supervisors, and production staff.
Flexibility :
Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience as a machinist, preferably in the food or cosmetics manufacturing industry Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ready to put your skills to work in a role that's anything but routine?
