Premier manufacturing company in Gainesville has immediate direct-hire openings for experienced CNC machinists for 2 opening on 1st shift and 4 openings on 2nd shift. Work environment offers air conditioning and state of the art equipment. Job Description Operate manual machines and CNC machines, including mill, lathe, drill press, and other equipment efficiently and safely Deburr finished parts as needed Read blueprints, work from layouts and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks Load, align, and operate machines per instructions Utilize micrometers, vernier calipers, and hand tools Monitor machines for problems and trouble shoot problems Check raw materials for quality and quantity ahead of loading into machine Prepare raw materials to be loaded into the machine Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3 years of experience as a machinist Ability to understand CNC programs Ability to edit CNC programs with Manufacturing Assistance Working knowledge of CNC and manual equipment Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading

Shift :

1st shift will work Monday

• Friday 6:00am
• 2:30pm, or as late as 4:30pm for overtime 2nd shift will work Monday
• Friday 3:00pm
• 11:30pm, or as late as 1:30am for overtime Occasional overtime on Saturdays as needed Candidates will undergo background and drug screening.

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for up to a 10 hour shifts. Steel toed boots or shoes required.
