POSITION SUMMARY & FUNCTIONS

Set up, adjust, and operate Machine Shop equipment such as Milling Machines, Engine Lathes, Tool-Post Grinder, Surface Grinder, and the various tools and measuring instruments required to perform precision Machining/Grinding operations. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering instructions. Performs and verify visual and dimensional inspection using manufacturer, company or customer supplied drawings and Manuals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set up and operate various Machining & Grinding equipment. 2. Read and interpret blueprints and Manuals. 3. Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment. 4. Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes and safety implementations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. 3-5 years working as a Manual Machinist. 2. Proper use and knowledge of Machine Shop tools and measuring equipment. 3. Personal Toolbox with basic Machinist tools. 4. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English, have basic computer skills. 5. Available to work daily overtime and Saturdays.
