This hands-on role empowers you to fabricate and assemble aerospace-grade prototype components for groundbreaking research and development projects. Ideal for technicians seeking career growth and stability within a globally recognized company. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision metal and composite parts for R D and contracted programs
  • Interpret G&M codes and mechanical drawings to ensure high-quality fabrication
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment including knee mill, band saw, manual lathe, press, shear, and grinders for metalworking tasks
  • Collaborate with shop supervisors and internal customers to validate project requirements and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Communicate project status and updates through MS Office applications and regular reviews with supervisors
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards while multitasking in a dynamic, team-oriented environment Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and operation experience in a technical fabrication environment
  • Proficient in metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and composites fabrication
  • Skilled in interpreting mechanical drawings and G&M codes
  • Experience with basic steel and aluminum alloys, manual machining processes, and hand-powered metal cutting
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based MS Office Suite for communication and data handling
  • High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training or relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, and weekends
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA, Creo/Pro-E, and advanced G-code programming
  • Familiarity with GD&T, Mil-Spec Standards, and advanced metalworking techniques
