FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CNC MACHINIST JOB DESCRIPTION

Program and machine high-precision, quick-turn and recurring production jobs Machine raw stock, weldments, and modify existing components Machine complex, tight-tolerance parts using materials including 15-5PH, 17-4PH, Inconel 718, stainless steel, and bronze Set up, operate, and prove out programs on multi-axis CNC mills/lathes, manual mills/lathes, and other shop equipment Complete machining from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions Review processes to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability Collaborate with engineers and designers on process development and quality improvements Maintain company processes, procedures, safety standards, cleanliness, and lean manufacturing practices

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent 8+ years of professional experience running multi-axis CNC mills or lathes 8+ years of experience reading G-code and programming CNC machines

HIGHLY IMPORTANT

Strong hands-on experience with Mastercam 2019+ is required Experience with multi-axis/multi-tasking programs and Fanuc and Haas controls Experience with Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or similar software Experience with manual lathes, knee mills, and other manual equipment Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds across various materials Proficient with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators Experience with Renishaw probes Ability to read engineering prints and interpret GD&T Experience developing workholding and fixturing solutions Strong communication and teamwork skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, twist, work in cramped spaces, climb hand-over-hand, and work at heights up to 100 feet when required Must be able to work around fumes, odors, and noise Travel to other sites may be required The interviewing and hiring process can take 2-3 weeks. Candidates must be available for an in-person, on-site interview if selected.

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
