Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital contributor to precision metalworking and component fabrication. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality parts that meet strict specifications. Your expertise in machining tools, blueprint reading, and measurement instruments will ensure the delivery of flawless components for various industries. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills drive efficiency and excellence in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring accurate production according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment for each job Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining operations Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing specifications to determine machining parameters Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions and quality standards Conduct machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to maintain optimal performance Inspect finished parts through CNC quality inspection procedures, ensuring adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with CNC G-code programming is essential Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or similar for interpreting technical drawings Skilled in blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation with an understanding of GD&T principles Proficiency with machining tools, manual machining techniques, grinders, hand tools, and tooling setup Ability to perform precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and machining tolerances Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM), Mazatrol controls, CAM programming, and metal machining is a plus Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in manufacturing processes Join us as a CNC Machinist where your technical expertise fuels innovation in manufacturing! Pay:
$26.24 - $33.00 per hour
