The ideal candidate will have significant experience obtained in a US Navy, USMC, or comparable DoD environment in the areas of design, fabrication, and integration of mechanical systems or similar systems, including leading of a team of mechanical engineers. Requirements The Mechanical Integrator performs hands-on assembly, integration, modification, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems in a DoD fabrication/manufacturing environment. The position interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to accurately fit, assemble, align, and test components and assemblies.

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED required; mechanical, aerospace, or mechatronics degree preferred. 3-7+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, schematics, and technical specifications. Experience using hand and power tools for precision assembly and fabrication. Ability to troubleshoot fitment, alignment, tolerance, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues. Experience with mechanical integration, installation, modification, and testing of components and systems. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with engineers, fabricators, welders, machinists, and project personnel. DoD/Defense, Navy, shipyard, or military fabrication experience preferred.
