Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, program, and maintain Citizen Swiss CNC machines, to produce high-quality components with exceptional accuracy. This is a 1st shift position , Monday -Friday from 7am-3:30pm . This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing company. Duties Set up and operate Swiss CNC lathes, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise parts Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper tooling, tooling changes, and machine calibration for consistent quality Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety standards Skills Extensive experience operating Swiss CNC lathes preferably Citizen Swiss machines. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G Code, and general blueprint reading skills Proficiency in GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality control of machined parts Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications accurately Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and adjustments Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste Join our team as a Swiss CNC Machinist if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision meets innovation!
