Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise will ensure that parts meet strict quality standards and specifications, contributing to the success of our manufacturing processes. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machining tools to produce high-precision parts according to blueprints and technical drawings Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, including Fanuc controls and Mazatrol programming systems Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibration devices such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments to optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality Conduct precision measurements during manufacturing using measurement instruments like micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators for quality control purposes Inspect finished parts for conformance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and ensure adherence to specifications through CNC quality inspection procedures Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to manual machining tools, power tools, grinding equipment, and CNC machinery Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with Fanuc controls or similar systems preferred Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or general blueprint reading skills for interpreting mechanical drawings Hands-on experience with CAM programming for toolpath generation and machine optimization Mechanical knowledge of machining tools, tooling setup, calibration procedures, and measurement instruments for precision manufacturing Ability to perform manual machining tasks using hand tools when necessary for setup or finishing processes Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, feed rates, speeds, and measurements critical to precision machining Join us in delivering top-tier manufacturing solutions by leveraging your CNC machining expertise!
