Job Description

Machinist/Parts Processor Our manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Machinist/Parts Processor. This position is located in Carlisle.

Starting Pay:

$20.00-23.00

Hours:

6:30am-4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Duties:

Operate all manufacturing equipment including band saws, iron workers, and plasma torches. Ensure products are manufactured to quality and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints and material dimensions. Read and interpret symbols and materials needed for manufacture.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with relevant machining (cutting types: band saw, torch, plasma, and shear). Basic mathematics knowledge and understanding of angles. Basic Brake Press knowledge. Steel toed boots/shoes with metatarsal cover. Current Forklift Certification (min of 1 year exp) High School diploma or GED.Strong attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for an 8-10 our shift. Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
