Mill Creek Machining is seeking CNC Set-Up Technicians to join their team in Paullina, IA.

Dayshift:
Monday- Friday 7:00 AM
- 5:00
PM Pay:
$28- 31 DOE A weekly attendance bonus will be added to each pay period when all scheduled hours are worked
- Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete setup and operation of CNC machines Assist in improving machining processes Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Adjust machine offsets and cutting parameters to maintain quality and efficiency Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production challenges Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards Communicate process improvements and technical recommendations Maintain equipment and work areas What we're looking for Extensive experience performing complete CNC machine setups in a precision manufacturing environment Demonstrated success developing machining processes, selecting tooling, and implementing workholding solutions Ability to independently evaluate jobs and determine efficient machining strategies with minimal supervision Experience machining complex components that require critical thinking, creativity, and sound machining judgment Proven track record of producing high-quality work while meeting demanding schedules and customer expectations Strong commitment to craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and professional excellence Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment Benefits and Perks Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate, accrued vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&D insurance.
