Duties include but not limited to : Set up and operate Haas machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications. Pulls and loads correct programs, fixtures, and cutting tools for machine operations for finished products. Utilizes probing to assist for setting offsets for tooling and parts. Read and understand programming and trouble shoot as required to meet blueprint and quality requirements. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Basic requirements : Extensive experience in machining, including proficiency with Haas controls. Excellent blueprint reading and math skills. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, depth mics and gages, bore gages, etc. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications accurately.
