Manual Machinist
Addison, IL
Shift:
1st 6 AM
- 2:30 PM
Overtime:
Currently working 6 AM
- 4:30 PM Monday
- Friday, 6 AM
- 12 PM 2 Saturdays a month.
- Shift Schedules / Saturdays are posted 3 months in advance
- Overtime is mandatory
Pay:
B Level:
$24-30/hr;
C Level:
$20-24/hr

Set up and operate manual machines in a machine shop environment
Follow blueprint specifications and job orders
Ensure tolerances are held and quality parts are made
Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining as required or needed.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, drills, broach, grinders, hone and gear cutting machines.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Confers with Lead, Production Personnel, Programmers, and others to resolve machining problems

Will need to be able to pass DT and Background check to qualify for employment at this time

Hourly Rate
