CNC Machinist/ Alsip, IL
Job Description
CNC Machinist in Alsip, IL1st and 2nd shift Monday-Friday, no weekends requiredPay based on experience ranging from $25-33 an hour. ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machinery according to standard work procedures, including completing required preventive maintenance (PM).Inspect and deburr parts, perform manual operations, and operate additional equipment as needed.
Select and preset tools required for upcoming scheduled jobs.
Update and maintain visual controls while supporting corrective actions and countermeasures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in SMED and Kaizen events and use "5 Whys" problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement.
Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment abnormalities.
Follow all company safety procedures and standards to protect employees, contractors, customers, equipment, and property.
Proactively identify and report unsafe conditions or practices and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Requirements3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience CNC maintenance mechanic experience
