Job Description
A confidential, established precision gear manufacturer is seeking experienced Gear Cutters, Gear Hobbing Operators, Gear Shaper Operators, and CNC Gear Machinists to produce large, precision industrial gears. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and manual gear cutting equipment. Manufacture precision spur, helical, bevel, worm gears, and splines. Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments. Read blueprints and engineering drawings. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment. Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals. Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement. Qualifications 3+ years of gear manufacturing or gear machining experience. Experience operating gear hobbing, gear shaping, or gear cutting machines . Strong setup and changeover experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
