Job Description
CNC Machinist (Grinder)
Perform machine set-ups and adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cut to ensure parts meet blueprint and engineering specifications.
Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to prescribed tolerances.
Follow blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders to produce accurate components.
May be required to operate CNC (numerical control) machines as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
QualificationsAssociate's Degree in a related field, military technical training, or equivalent education and experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience required.
Grinding experience with small, detailed components required.
Manual machining experience preferred.
Prior machine shop experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM $28-35/hr DOE Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Grinder) to support our manufacturing team in Buffalo Grove, IL. This role is responsible for operating grinding equipment and other conventional machine shop tools to produce high-quality precision parts within prescribed tolerances. The ideal candidate has CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from blueprints and engineering drawings. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate various conventional machine shop equipment, including grinders and vertical/horizontal saws, to produce and detail small parts ranging from simple to complex.Perform machine set-ups and adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cut to ensure parts meet blueprint and engineering specifications.
