Summary:
Seeking a CNC Machinist for 3rd shift to operate and set up multi-axis CNC machines in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Ability to work 10pm-6am shift Sunday-Thursday, with potential 6th day after training
Training on 1st shift (6am-2pm) for first 1-3 months
Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
Experience with CNC lathe and mills, Fanuc or Siemens controls
Familiarity with DMG Mori, NTX, Okuma machines, and live tooling setups
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
Capability to lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, work orders, specs, and machine parameters for machining operations
Operate CNC machines to produce finished products within tight tolerances
Perform jaw installations or recuts as required
Conduct machining operations in a job shop environment with runs of up to 100 pieces and setups lasting from 2-8 hours
