This is a direct hire opportunity. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The annual salary range is $70,000 to $75,000, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package. Core Responsibilities Configure, program, and run CNC turning and milling machinery to create accurate parts. Create and adjust machine programs by utilizing CAM software, G-code, and conversational programming methods. Support general production needs by running manual machining tools. Use shop tools such as grinders, saws, and drill presses to assist in the fabrication process. Determine optimal machining settings, such as feed rates, cutting depths, and coolant flow, to ensure efficient production. Analyze technical blueprints and engineering schematics to ensure final components align with design specifications. Use inspection tools like dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to verify part accuracy and help maintain high quality standards. Ensure parts meet strict tolerances to help the team deliver consistent, high-quality results. Collaborate with production and engineering staff to assist in prototype creation and drive process improvements. Keep the workspace tidy and orderly while performing regular maintenance on machinery to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical schooling is a plus. At least five years of professional experience in CNC machining. Familiarity with manual mill operation. Experience working with various materials, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and engineering plastics. Capable of managing tasks and working autonomously. Skilled in conversational programming with a solid grasp of G-code. Ability to troubleshoot, write, and modify CNC programs directly at the control interface. Strong mechanical problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret blueprints and adhere to documented work procedures. Solid understanding of machining principles and shop-related mathematics.
