In this role, you will be responsible to program from print, set up & operate 2 and/or 3 Axis CNC lathes, utilizing live tooling and machines using Mazatrol conversational programming. Responsibilities Program from print using Mazatrol by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches. Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry; proving part programs. Ability to do your own set ups and produce quality parts from technical drawings with minimal supervision. Plans machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T) Set up lathes by installing and adjusting jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings and stops. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces; performs buddy checks. Support CNC Lathe team through programming, verifying setups and buddy checks Requirements Experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of CNC programming and operation, particularly with Mazatrol and Fanuc systems. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
