Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, precision measurement, and mechanical fabrication. This role involves operating and programming CNC lathes and milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The CNC Machinist will play a vital role in maintaining efficient manufacturing processes while adhering to safety and quality protocols. Monday

91 BOE Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD/CAM files to produce precise components. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to machining processes. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet specifications and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining, welding, plastics injection molding, and other manufacturing processes. Assist in assembly or related tasks as needed using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming software. Strong understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading skills. Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes including electrical discharge machining, plastics injection molding, welding, and assembly techniques. Experience with SolidWorks, CAD software, and tooling design. Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc systems. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and dimensions. Knowledge of machining operations involving CNC lathe and CNC milling machines. Ability to operate forklifts safely when required. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement initiatives.
