Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinists to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the technical expertise to produce high-quality components with precision. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Mills of Lathes / Swiss experience is a big plus to produce parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges, to ensure accuracy in production. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Edit Program software for complex machining tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality control. Familiarity with bore gauges and other measurement tools. Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Experience with SolidWorks for design interpretation and modifications. Ability to operate forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment (certification preferred). Knowledge of Fanuc or Conversational Controls for CNC operations. Experience with lean manufacturing concepts to drive process improvements. Familiarity with tooling selection and application for various machining tasks.
