Senior CNC Machinist•
Direct Hire Location:
Berne, IN Pay:
$28•32/hour (based on experience) 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30

As needed Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a full time opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and make program edits while holding tight tolerances. If you're someone who can walk up to a machine, understand the print, and make the necessary adjustments to get quality parts out consistently—we'd love to talk to you. What You'll Be Doing Set up, operate, and run CNC machines for precision part production Machine parts to exact tolerances based on complex blueprints Load, edit, and adjust CNC programs to match tooling and job requirements Select proper tooling and make adjustments based on material and application Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues independently Perform hand finishing work such as filing, fitting, and scraping Record labor and production data accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What You Need to Qualify High School Diploma or equivalent required Trade school certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience preferred Advanced CNC machining experience (setup + program editing required) Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints independently Strong understanding of tooling selection and machining applications Proven ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs, tooling, and processes Strong math skills and attention to detail Ability to pass a background check This is a true senior-level role—candidates must be comfortable running machines, completing setups, and making program edits without supervision.
