Job Description

Role Support the production department with effective supervision to produce high quality parts in a safe, cost efficient manner. Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental standards. Responsibilities 1. Ensure that all associates are following FCC's safety requirements at all times. 2. Promote and ensure conformance to the company's
ISO 14001
procedures (recycling, reducing waste) 3. Assign trainers to trainees and confirm that proper training is completed daily. (8-day OJT) 4. Review trainee's performance and provide feedback to the trainee and department management (Initial Evaluation, Annual Evaluations, Performance Reviews) 5. Review your department's cleanliness and organization daily. Make improvements using the 5C principle (Clean, clear, create, commit, continue). 6. Ensure all required quality checks are being completed on time by all associates. 7. Promote and ensure conformance to the company's
IATF 16949
procedures (work standards, check sheets, regulations, quality manual) 8. Enter detailed work request for machines issues as needed. Work requests need to include good detail of the machine issue. 9. Communicate the daily production schedule (quantities, changeovers, PPAPs) to all associates. Assign associates to the needed positions and fill in for absentees to achieve the daily production plan. 10. Review associates daily shift sheets for accurate information (Product quantity, down time, scrap) 11. Fill out the daily shift report sheet(s) as required by your department. 12. Knowledge of company policies and practices dealing with associate relations (free of discrimination, harassment, violence, drugs, and alcohol). 13. Knowledge and experience of departmental machines, equipment and procedures. 14. Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates 15. Attend meetings as needed to assist with department continuous improvements and corrective actions. 16. Additional projects assigned by management Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 1. High School diploma/GED equivalency Preferred Skills/Experience 1. Computer knowledge Environmental/Working Conditions 1. Essential functions of this job require the associate to regularly: stand, walk, bend, twist, carry and lift 2.
