Part-Time CNC Machinist Graphite Customs is looking for a reliable part-time CNC machinist/operator to help manufacture custom graphite molds and products. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for flexible part-time work or additional income outside of a full-time position.

$24-$28/hour depending on experience

Approximately 5-15 hours per week

Flexible — evenings and weekends available

Employment:

Part-time What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC equipment Load and run existing CNC programs Set work offsets and change tooling Machine graphite molds and components Inspect finished parts for quality Prepare and cut graphite stock Perform basic machine and work-area cleanup Identify and troubleshoot basic machining issues Most jobs will already have established CAD/CAM programs and processes. This position is primarily focused on setup, machining, inspection, and keeping production moving , rather than programming parts from scratch. What We're Looking For CNC machining or CNC setup experience Comfortable setting tools and work offsets Ability to read basic prints and dimensions Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic machining problems Reliable and able to work independently Attention to detail Experience machining graphite is not required . Training on our specific machines, processes, and graphite machining methods will be provided. CAD/CAM or CNC programming experience is a plus, but not required . About Graphite Customs Graphite Customs is a small specialty manufacturing business producing custom CNC-machined graphite molds and components. Our work ranges from one-off custom designs to repeat production orders. Because we're a small operation, this isn't a typical production-shop position. You'll have a lot of independence, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of unique parts. We're primarily looking for someone who can eventually be given a group of jobs and independently set up, run, inspect, and complete them correctly .
