Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Dyer, IN. This role is ideal for a skilled machining professional who takes pride in producing precision components, maintaining quality standards, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC machinery, read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and make adjustments to ensure parts meet exact specifications. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values stability, teamwork, supportive leadership, and the ability to contribute directly to high-quality production. The right candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently as well as with a production team. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision machined parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production documentation. Make machine offsets, adjustments, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting corrections as needed. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to inspect finished parts. Monitor production runs to maintain dimensional accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and documentation procedures.
