•7:00 AM We are seeking experienced Manual Machinists for 2nd and 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience operating manual mills and/or lathes , performing machine setups, reading blueprints, and making precision measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, and related equipment. Perform turning, milling, threading, boring, drilling, and grinding operations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. Work with fractions, decimals, tolerances, measurements, and gauges. Perform machine adjustments and setups to meet required dimensions and tolerances. Work with a variety of metals and manufacturing components.

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on machining or mechanical experience. Strong Manual Machinist experience. Hands-on experience with manual mills and/or lathes . Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN.

Preferred:

Technical certificate or Associate degree in a mechanical/electrical field. Experience with traditional/"old school" manual machine setup methods. Experience with welding, balancing equipment, or precision machining.

Important:
