We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and producing precision-machined components while maintaining strict quality and productivity standards. We are looking for individuals with hands-on CNC machining experience who understand machining fundamentals, blueprint interpretation, tooling, feeds and speeds, and quality inspection techniques.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Load tooling and make tooling offsets as required Perform machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues Maintain quality and production standards Complete production documentation accurately Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and dimensional specifications Proficiency using precision measuring instruments Understanding of machining terminology, tooling, feeds, and speeds Ability to work independently and maintain production standards Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
CNC setup experience Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming Understanding of GD&T Pay - $17-25/HR Shift - 1st
