It is the company's policy to fully satisfy customers' needs and expectations on an ongoing basis.

$24.00-28.00hr based on experience
Hours:
2nd 1:45-11:45 (however this is a new shift, and they are still training so it is currently 10am -8pm to overlap 1st shift) The CNC Machinist Will Independently produce precision machined parts by setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment with minimal supervision. This role requires strong technical competency in machining practices, program editing and creation, tooling selection, and quality verification, supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient setups, maintaining process accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and consistently meeting quality and productivity standards. 1. Read, interpret, and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications 2. Measure and verify part dimensions using comparators, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, indicators, and other precision tools 3. Independently set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines within the assigned department 4. Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs, including G-code modifications and basic programming logic 5. Select, install, and adjust proper work holding such as collets, chucks, fixtures, and vises 6. Set up, preset, and change tooling as required for each job, ensuring proper offsets and tool life management 7. Inspect first-run and in-process parts to maintain quality standards and make necessary adjustments 8. Operate equipment unsupervised while maintaining consistent output and adherence to specifications 9. Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions 10. Meet or exceed standard productivity requirements and follow established manufacturing processes 11. Accurately report time, materials, and job progress in manufacturing systems 12. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area 13. Perform routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and communicate repair needs 14. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements 15. Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills/Knowledge 1. Ability to read, interpret, and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications 2. Ability to independently set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines 3. Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs, including G-code modifications and basic programming logic 4. Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as comparators, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, and indicators 5. Excellent functional and technical skills with strong attention to detail 6. Clear verbal communication and documentation abilities Skills/Knowledge Preferred 1. 4+ years of machining or manufacturing experience 2. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles 3. Ability to operate manual machines (lathe, mill, grinder) 4. Working knowledge of CNC controls, instrumentation, and machining processes 5. Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and ERP systems 6. Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when needed, and learn new processes quickly 7. Dependable and punctual, with consistent attendance 8. Able to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team 9. Strong problem-solving mindset with sound judgment 10. Quality-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement 11. Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow within the CNC machining trade Physical Requirements 1. Prolonged standing throughout the shift 2. Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching 3. Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. 4. Frequent exposure to grease, oils, noise, and coolant in a manufacturing environment Essential Functions Able to stand for prolonged periods throughout the shift, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed, and regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
