As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to manufacture high-quality railroad track materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and G-code, and the confidence to problem-solve on the spot. You'll work with 3 and 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring precise execution of machining tasks while maintaining high production standards. Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce rail components with precision. Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and machine specifications to ensure accuracy. Inspect finished products, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments. Utilize manual tools and equipment as needed to support production.
Requirements:
We're looking for a dedicated CNC Machinist with proven experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. You should be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions are critical. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
