Job Description
Job Description Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations. This includes aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machine.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Measure, examine or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometer, calipers, or other measuring instruments.
- Document actions by completing required paperwork (Inspection documents, Travelers). Perform minor mechanical and assembly work as needed.
- Must possess their own tools and be willing to multitask and cross-train on all machines, as required.
- Share expertise and knowledge throughout the machine shop.
- Always follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Descriptions:
Insight Global's client is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 am. Overtime work is available on Friday - Sunday. The CNC Machinist will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine while maintaining quality, safety standards, records, and equipment.
