Job Objective:

Committed to being part of a positive working environment while providing quality products and meeting customer's schedule. Reads blueprints, specs, and ensures machines run quality parts per specification.

Essential Job Functions:

• Able to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, specs and perform dimensional inspections of tools and parts as needed
• Perform setup, edit and operate CNC Mill and Lathe
• Ability to use inspection equipment
• Ability to operate FANUC controls
• Ensure setup cards and programs reflect the correct information and meet quality requirements.
• Maintains setup cards and ensure they can be interpreted by all users.
• Check and buy off own work
• Perform preventative machine maintenance as required
• Maintain good housekeeping by keeping work area clean and uncluttered.
• Good communication skills.
• Frequently lift 10
• 20lbs, occasionally lifting to 50lbs.
• Frequently walk throughout the shop

Work Environment:

• Usual working days/hours: Monday
• Thursday 6:00pm
• 5:30am. Working hours are subject to change based company needs, may require working additional overtime.
• Manufacturing shop environment
• High noise level

Equipment:

• CNC Machining centers, and CNC Lathes
• Manual Machines
• Lathes, drill press, hone, and band saw
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Height Gages
• Faro Arm Preferred Training
• GD&T
• Forklift Operation
• General ISO Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of CNC milling experience
• Good mechanical skills.
