Talento Search Group has an opening for a Manual Machinist in the Madisonville, Kentucky area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform manual machining with lathes, milling machines, saws, and grinders Read blueprints and schematics Perform changeovers on equipment Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns Perform manual lathe, mill, and drill press equipment Construct jigs and fixtures Braze material as needed

Experience Needed:

At least 3 years of recent machining experience Ability to make parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes Experience with drill presses, manual mills, and manual lathes Must be able to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scales Ability to perform shop math and ability to read schematics
