Job Title:

Manual Machine Operator (Non-CNC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machine Operator to operate and maintain conventional machinery. This role requires hands-on experience with manual equipment and the ability to produce quality parts using blueprints and measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual machines only (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders) Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders Set up machines, select proper tools, and adjust settings manually Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ensure all parts meet required specifications and quality standards Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Report defects, equipment issues, or material concerns to supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments accurately Strong attention to detail and quality control Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Work Environment:

Industrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials
