We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing quality work, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. Candidates with experience in manual machining, Okuma CNC machining, or both are encouraged to apply. Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment Machine parts to customer specifications, drawings, and required tolerances Perform precision machining, repair, and modification of a variety of components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain required tolerances Maintain accurate measurements and job documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Properly care for machines, tooling, and measuring equipment Assist with other machining and shop-related work as needed Qualifications Qualified candidates should: Have experience operating manual machines, CNC machines (Okuma), or both Be proficient in reading and using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Be able to read and understand blueprints and machining specifications Understand machining tolerances and the importance of dimensional accuracy Have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Be able to work independently as well as part of a team Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work Be willing to learn new equipment, processes, and machining techniquesExperience in a job-shop or repair machining environment is a plus.
