Bell Machine Company is looking for an experienced CNC / Manual Machinist to join our team in Shreveport. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands precision machining and can independently set up and operate equipment. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC and manual machines Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and prints Machine parts to required dimensions and tolerances Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment Inspect your own work to ensure parts meet specifications Troubleshoot machining and setup issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work independently while also being part of the shop team Maintain quality and efficiency throughout the machining process What We're Looking For 3-5 years of machining experience preferred Experience setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines Strong blueprint-reading skills Ability to use precision measuring and inspection tools Good mechanical and problem-solving ability Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity Applicants should have a basic set of personal hand tools and machinist/inspection tools appropriate for the position.
