Job Description

Lathe Machinist Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes to meet production and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders . Operate mills and other fabrication equipment as needed. Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools . Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. Maintain quality standards, safety procedures, and an organized work area. Support production schedules and quick-turn manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience . Strong blueprint-reading and technical drawing interpretation skills. Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. Ability to perform precision measurements and quality inspections. Experience operating mills in a manufacturing environment. Mechanical troubleshooting skills. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Doosan and Puma CNC machines. Fabrication and assembly experience. Strong attention to detail and quality control experience. Ability to work effectively during both steady and high-production periods. Strong commitment to workplace safety.
