CNC Machinist (Direct Hire) Auburn, MA | $75,000 - $80,000 Annually Ready to take your machining career to the next level? Join a growing manufacturing team where your CNC expertise, precision machining skills, and problem-solving abilities are valued. This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist who thrives in a high-quality production environment and enjoys working independently on complex machining projects. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC and manual milling and turning machines. Edit, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs, including G-Code and M-Code programming. Machine components to blueprint specifications and tight tolerances. Perform milling, turning, drilling, threading, tapping, reaming, facing, deburring, and assembly operations. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturing standards. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training preferred. 10+ years of CNC and manual machining experience. Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Advanced understanding of machining practices, shop mathematics, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Experience maintaining precise tolerances and solving machining challenges with minimal supervision. Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work around industrial machinery.
