Job Description
This position is a
DIRECT HIRE ROLE
from day oneResponsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC lathe and/or milling machines
- Setup and operate manual machines
- Review samples, drawings, blueprints, or instructions to understand job specifications
- Plan machining operations and determine the proper sequence of tasks
- Set up machines and determine batch size, speeds, and feeds
- Monitor machine operation, adjust settings, and identify issues during production
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with CNC lathe and/or milling machines
- Experience operating manual, semi-automated, or automated machines
- Experience with calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals Hours are: Monday through Friday - 7am to 3:30pm The pay is up to $33.
