The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up both manual and CNC machines, including mills and lathes. This role requires proficiency in machine operation, CNC machining, and the ability to edit and set up equipment to produce precise components. The Machinist will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of manufactured parts in a professional manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate manual machines such as mills and lathes with precision and attention to detail. Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including editing programs as needed for production runs. Perform machine setup tasks, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and parameters are in place before production. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce accurate parts. Monitor machine operations during production to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot issues promptly. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Proven experience operating manual machines such as mills and lathes. Proficiency in CNC machining, including setup, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs. Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. Strong understanding of machining tools, fixtures, and measurement instruments. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
