We have a strong customer base and an excellent reputation for quality. We are in search of a machinist to setup and operate medium size CNC lathes
  • both barfeeders and chuck (OKUMA / NAKAMURA) ```Duties```
  • Set up and productively operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, with the ability to read and edit programs (G codes / M codes)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment ```Requirements```
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
  • Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
