Set-up and operate a full range of bench and machine tool equipment such as mill and lathe Setup and operate Proto-Trak Millers and Proto-Trak Lathe, Surface Grinder, to fabricate tools, fixtures Perform general milling operations, turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping and grinding, etc. to fabricate metal parts Design and build tools and jigs Perform preventive maintenance on all machines Perform work involving unusual set-ups, close tolerances and critical interrelated dimensions Work from sketches, preliminary drawings, blueprints, or from verbal direction from engineers Plan, layout, and performs work on assignments including all types of machine and hand operations, fitting, adjusting and checking dimensions to very close tolerances #CNX200
