Milling CNC Machinist Massachusetts Employer Milling CNC Machinist Lawrence, MA Apply What You\'ll Be Doing:

Setting up and troubleshooting CNC milling machines in a precision machine shop environment Performing complete machine setups independently and making adjustments as needed Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications Using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and depth gauges Monitoring machining operations and verifying quality throughout the production process Applying basic G-code knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize setups when needed

Skills You Bring:

5+ years of CNC milling setup experience required Ability to independently set up CNC mills and troubleshoot machining issues Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment Understanding of basic G-code Experience with Haas mills is a plus, but not required CNC programming experience is not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and work in a machine shop environment throughout the shift Frequent use of measuring instruments and hand tools Ability to lift materials and components as needed Comfortable working around CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with overtime available

Important:

This is a hands-on CNC setup role in a machine shop. Candidates must have solid experience setting up CNC milling machines independently, troubleshooting issues, reading blueprints, and using precision measuring equipment.
