Job Summary:

Setup and operate CNC machinery such as, but not limited to: CNC Swiss Screw machines (Citizen A20 or similar) Multi axis CNC lathes (HAAS DS30Y / Eurotech or similar) Conventional CNC lathes and ProtoTrak style

CNC Lathes Job Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate CNC Lathes & Swiss Screw Machines
• Change offsets and tools as necessary
• Machine parts, de-bur, load and clean parts
• Provide shop support as needed
• Keep CNC running at all times
• Change tools when worn out
• Editing CNC programs as needed
• Maintain CNC Machinery according to maintenance schedules
• Communicate all concerns, issues, problems, etc. directly to Production Manager
• Inspect parts from initial set up, maintain inspection reports, reorder tooling, maintain equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational schooling or apprentice training is preferred
• Knowledge of CNC Lathe, and Swiss Screw Machine CNC controls
• Basic G-code understanding
• Use of measuring tools
• Ability to handle bar stock
• Basic computer skills
• 5+ years experience required

Skills and Abilities:

Basic Computer Skills CAD/CAM Software a plus (BobCad or similar)

Work Environment:

Comfortable climate controlled Shop with Air Filtration.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and manipulate 12 foot bar stock Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time All job offers are contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
