Experienced Gear Cutter Requirements:
2-5+ years of experience in gear cutting or precision machining required Experience with both manual and CNC machines required Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T required Knowledge of gear types (spur, helical, bevel, spline) required Experience with gear hobbing and shaping machines CNC programming or editing experience Experience with gear inspection tools (gear tooth micrometers, lead/profile testers) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experienced Gear Cutter Benefits:

Experienced Gear Cutter Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual gear cutting machines (hobbing, shaping) Set up and operate CNC gear cutting machines Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and gear specifications Select appropriate tooling, cutters, feeds, and speeds Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gear inspection equipment) Adjust machine offsets and tooling as needed Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
