Job Description

Role Overview Situated in Southbridge, MA, this 1st shift opportunity runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to contribute to our production department, where you will manage CNC equipment setup and operation to ensure all manufactured components meet our rigorous quality and output requirements. Core Responsibilities Configure and run CNC machinery to support production goals. Execute necessary tool swaps, adjustments, and compensations. Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and detailed specifications. Utilize various inspection instruments and gages to verify part accuracy and quality standards. Observe equipment performance and perform necessary fine-tuning. Operate a range of hardware including mills, lathes, drills, punch presses, and deburring tools. Help maintain a safe and compliant working environment for the entire team. Manage the full production cycle of parts from initial print to final completion. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of professional machining background, with three or more years being ideal. Proven proficiency in CNC machine setup and daily operation. Practical experience handling tool offsets, changes, and compensations. Strong ability to comprehend and apply engineering drawings and blueprints. Skilled in the application of precision measuring devices and inspection tools. Familiarity with Mazak or Swiss machinery is considered an advantage. Understanding of machine shop math and GD&T principles is highly valued. Completion of vocational education or relevant industry certifications is a plus.
