from day one

Responsibilities:

Setup and operate CNC lathe and/or milling machines Setup and operate manual machines Review samples, drawings, blueprints, or instructions to understand job specifications Plan machining operations and determine the proper sequence of tasks Set up machines and determine batch size, speeds, and feeds Monitor machine operation, adjust settings, and identify issues during production Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs

Qualifications:

Previous experience with CNC lathe and/or milling machines Experience operating manual, semi-automated, or automated machines Experience with calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals Hours are: Monday through Friday - 7am to 3:30pm The pay is $33.00 an hour depending on experience
