The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, can read blueprints and mechanical drawings, and is comfortable working in a production environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain drill presses, engine/turret lathes, and CNC machines. Follow blueprints, drawings, work orders, and standard operating procedures. Perform basic CNC machine operations and understand basic CNC programs and G-code. Make machine adjustments, including offset wear and geometry adjustments. Change collets, tool inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders. Perform quality checks using verniers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, and pin gages. Enter and run programs for pre-programmed parts. Maintain proper coolant and oil levels and perform basic machine maintenance. Identify components and materials and maintain awareness of inventory. Assist with bar stock handling, cutting materials, cleaning parts, and managing chips and scrap. Maintain required production, quality, and quantity standards. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Work as part of a team and contribute to continuous improvement and process efficiency. Qualifications 1-3 years of related machining or manufacturing experience. Hands-on experience with drill presses and/or engine lathes . Ability to read and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions . Ability to understand and perform basic CNC machine operations. Ability to read and understand basic CNC programs. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with G-code is preferred. CNC setup and operating experience is a plus. Experience with Fanuc controls, Miyano lathes, Haas mills, or Mazak machines is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and machining techniques.
